Dr. Momo Kano Podolsky

Dr Momo Kano Podolsky teaches sociology since 2001 at the Faculty for the Study of Contemporary Society, Kyoto Women’s University. She specializes in Ethnic Studies, Kaigai/Kikoku-shijo (Japanese Overseas and Returnee Children) Studies, and Intercultural Communication. Born in Nishinomiya, Japan, she grew up in France and spent 14 years in Canada, obtaining her Doctoral degree from the University of Toronto.
