Lillian McEnery currently researches family literacy issues and leadership roles of beginning teachers. She serves as treasurer of the Texas Association for the Improvement of Reading. She also serves on the Children's Museum Advisory Board as well as the Greater Houston Area Reading Council.
Nancy Wright, whose research interests include motivating struggling readers, teaches education courses and supervises internships. She is coordinator for Success Through Education Partnerships and serves as Kappa Delta Pi counselor
Kit Chiu teaches Children's Literature and Language Arts. As a certified librarian, she teaches math to elementary gifted students using children's literature. She also serves as media specialist.
