Dr Regina Borowik received her MA in sociology from Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznan and the PhD title (in 1985) from the Philosophy-History Department of the Jagiellonian University. She joins the faculty of the Management Department of the Czestochowa University of Technology.Her current research focuses on psychosocial aspects of managers education in changing and culturally diverse environment. The subject of her particular interest is so-called "social philosophy and cultural transformations", especially in the field of values and ethical attitudes with reference to mental health and mental functioning of a man. Regina Borowik participated in many national and international conferences, and is the author of over 80 publications. She is a member of the Business Ethic Center in the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology in the Polish Academy of Science (IPS PAS) and of two international psychological associations: IACCP (International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology) and IAAP (International Association for Applied Psychology).
Dr Barbara Borowik joins the faculty of the Computer Modeling Department of the Cracow University of Technology. In 1996 she has received her MSc in Computer Science from the Jagiellonian University. She enhanced her qualifications while being in the University of Maryland Baltimore County, in MIT in Cambridge and in University of London. PhD title in Computer Science she obtained in 2002 from the University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Cracow. She is the author of around 30 publications.
