Véronique Flambard-Weisbart is a professor of French / Francophone Studies in the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures, and Director of the European Studies Program in the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts, at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Her current research interests and publications focus on contemporary French literature, transnational cinemas, and the effects of globalization on national literatures, cinemas, and everyday life.
