Sylvia Sao Leng IEONG, educated in China and UK with BA, MA and PhD in English and Postgraduate Diploma in TEFL/TESL, has been teaching English at secondary and tertiary levels. She is Associate Professor, Associate Dean, Faculty of Education, University of Macau, with English, Curriculum and Translation Studies as her teaching and research interests. Her publications in recent years include Children’s Trilingual Picture Dictionary, Macao China (English translation), One Country Two Systems and Macao SAR (co-author), a Chinese translation of The Courage to Teach by Parker J. Palmer (editor & co-translator) and over a dozen papers in Chinese and international journals.
